Calling all aspiring bartenders!
Would-be mixologists now have the opportunity to showcase their bartending skills during new “Mixology” competitions taking place aboard the Carnival Liberty and Carnival Freedom.
The new activity, which takes place on Lido Deck, involves five guests who volunteer to create their own custom-made cocktail which is then evaluated by a panel of judges from the ship’s food and beverage department.
The winning cocktail earns a spot as one of the ship’s featured beverages for the rest of the voyage and is available for purchase in the ship’s bars and lounges.
Since being introduced earlier this month, dozens of guests aboard the Carnival Liberty and Carnival Freedom have participated in the Mixology competitions, which are proving extremely popular.
Plans are in the works to eventually expand the activity to other vessels in the “Fun Ship” fleet.
