As part of Carnival’s ongoing environmental awareness program for residents in homeport and port of call communities, the Carnival Miracle hosted a group of students from the Junior Park Warden program in Grand Turk during a recent call at the island.
More than a dozen local school-age children and their teachers participated in the fun, educational activity which provided a behind-the-scenes look at the ship’s various environmental and technical spaces, including visits to the engine room, the bridge, waste treatment facility and other areas, followed by lunch in the Lido restaurant.
The students and teachers, along with members of the Carnival Miracle’s management team, are pictured here following the tour.
Carnival Miracle makes regular calls at Grand Turk as part of its year-round eight-day Caribbean schedule from New York launched earlier this year.
