Carnival Valor Inaugurates Port Canaveral’s Newly Renovated Terminal 5

Carnival Valor inaugurated Port Canaveral’s recently renovated Terminal 5, departing on an eight-day Caribbean cruise this past weekend.

The $48 million project included an expanded terminal that can accommodate ships of up to 3,500 passengers, a longer 120-foot-long pier, a new 1,044-space parking garage, and new mobile passenger boarding bridges.

Carnival is the largest cruise operator from Port Canaveral with Carnival Valor, Carnival Magic and Carnival Victory offering year-round departures and Carnival Sunshine sailing seasonally.  Together these four ships carry more than 650,000 passengers annually from the Space Coast – the most of any cruise operator.
