Carnival Vista’s Kaleid-o-slide – the longest and wildest water slide in the Carnival fleet – has been named one of the Best Splash-Tastic Water Slides by Berlitz Cruising and Cruise Ship Guide.
The centerpiece of the ship’s massive WaterWorks aqua park, Kaleid-o-slide was recognized for providing a truly unique and memorable experience, with thrill seekers enjoying a 455-foot-long adventure with exhilarating twists and turns and stunning kaleidoscopic visual effects. Carnival Vista’s WaterWorks also includes the line’s signature Twister slide, a children’s splash zone and a 300-gallon tipping bucket called PowerDrencher.
Kaleid-o-slide is just one of several fun open-air activities aboard Carnival Vista which also include a suspended ropes course, a mini-golf course, a basketball court, and SkyRide, a groundbreaking bike-ride-in-the-sky aerial attraction.
Carnival Vista debuted May 1, 2016, and, following a 13-day transatlantic crossing, will arrive in New York in November for a pair of 11-day sailings before repositioning to Miami to launch year-round six-and eight-day Caribbean service later that month.
