New Orleans Saints quarterback Chase Daniel personally delivered a holiday surprise – a free Carnival cruise – to Valerie Ronco of Mandeville, La., as part of a sweepstakes sponsored by Carnival Cruise Line and supporting the Brees Dream Foundation.

The sweepstakes awards a different lucky fan a free cruise each time the Saints pass for more than 300 yards in a game during the 2017 season.  With two games left, fans can still register at www.carnival.com/saints to be automatically entered into the promotion which runs for the entire 2017 regular season.

The contest is designed to raise funds and bring awareness to the mission of the Brees Dream Foundation which was founded by legendary Saints quarterback Drew Brees and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for cancer patients and providing care, education and opportunities for children and families in need. Since its inception 12 years ago, the Foundation has contributed over $25 million to charitable causes globally. Carnival is making a cash donation to the Brees Dream Foundation.

“The Saints and Carnival are such a big part of the New Orleans community and it’s an honor to award free cruises to great fans like Valerie while helping some special kids and their families through the Brees Dream Foundation,” Daniel said.

Carnival is the Official Cruise Line of the New Orleans Saints as well as the city’s number one cruise operator with two year-round ships carrying more than 400,000 passengers annually from the Erato Street Cruise Terminal – the most of any cruise line.
