The seemingly endless array of delicious culinary options has earned Carnival Cruise Line “Best Lido Eats” honors in Porthole Cruise Magazine’s 2018 Editor-in-Chief Awards.

The awards are personally bestowed annually by Porthole Cruise Magazine Editor-in-Chief Bill Panoff who honors cruise lines, tour operators and affiliated industry vendors and suppliers across a broad range of categories.

Carnival was recognized for its wide variety of options in its poolside Lido restaurants which boast an assortment of tantalizing choices.  These include Guy’s Burger Joint developed in tandem with Food Network star Guy Fieri and serving 5 million burgers a year, BlueIguana Cantina offering authentic tacos and burritos and its own tortilla-making machine, the New England-inspired Seafood Shack with lobster rolls, fried clams and other delicacies, and Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse with BBQ favorites and sides created by Fieri.

The line’s Lido restaurants also include expansive salad and dessert bars, delis offering piled high sandwiches, freshly made hand-stretched pizza available 24 hours a day, Indian tandoori, Mongolian wok stations with custom-made stir fry, pasta bars and more.
