Carnival Cruise Lines' new Carnival Breeze departs Salerno, Italy, Tuesday, June 19, 2012, just before the vessel leaves Salerno, Italy. The 1,004-foot-long cruise ship accommodates 3,690 passengers and Is is sailing through the summer and early fall on a series of 12-day Mediterranean voyages prior to being based in Miami in late November, where it is to enter year-round six- and eight-day Caribbean cruise service.
