With delivery of the new Carnival Dream scheduled for Friday, September 18, shipboard team members are busy preparing for the ship’s first voyage.  The accompanying photos feature Cruise Director Todd Wittmer, the shore excursion staff and Camp Carnival youth counselors who are all on board and getting familiar with their new home.

A new class of vessel, Carnival Dream will offer a number of new features and entertainment options, including the line’s first-ever outdoor laser shows, as well as Ocean Plaza, a new indoor/outdoor café and live entertainment venue, and a four-deck-high, 303-foot-long enclosed corkscrew water slide – the longest in cruising.

Following a series of 12-day Mediterranean voyages and eight-day sailings from New York, Carnival Dream will reposition to Port Canaveral to operate a special nine-day cruise before launching year-round seven-day Caribbean service Dec. 12.
