Ted Arison

Ted Arison founded Carnival Cruise Line in 1972 and revolutionized the cruise industry with a vision to make a vacation experience once reserved for the wealthy accessible to everyone. Arison, with his son Micky, now chairman of Carnival Corporation & plc, launched the company with one converted ocean liner, the TSS Mardi Gras, from Miami. Today, Carnival Cruise Line has sailed more than 100 million guests.
