Christine Duffy is president of Carnival Cruise Line, certified as a Great Place to Work™ and the flagship brand of Miami-based global cruise industry leader Carnival Corp., the world’s largest leisure travel company. Christine also oversees the operations of Carnival Australia and P&O Cruises Australia.

Ken Tate

Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer

Ken Tate joined Carnival Cruise Line as vice president of revenue management in 2012 and was promoted to his current position, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, in 2018. In this capacity, Tate is responsible for revenue management and ship deployments, as well as trade and direct sales channels, including the pre-cruise contact center.

Jim Heaney

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jim Heaney is Carnival Cruise Line’s Executive Vice President of Finance, Planning and Technology as well as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all of the company’s financial, accounting and information technology functions. Heaney is an experienced financial executive with more than 30 years in the cruise and hospitality industries.

Lars Ljoen

Chief Operations Officer

Lars Ljoen is Carnival Cruise Line’s Chief Operations Officer. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing all of Carnival Cruise Line’s marine operations, including nautical and technical operations, environmental compliance and safety. Prior to joining Carnival, he served as managing director of Carnival Maritime, the marine service unit of the Costa Group in Hamburg, Germany.

Chris Chiames

Chief Communications Officer

Chris Chiames is chief communications officer for Carnival Cruise Line. He joined Carnival in 2018 and brings a strong track record of communications leadership across the travel industry. At Carnival, he manages the team responsible for public/media relations, events, employee and shipboard communications, guest communications, the Care Team and the post-cruise guest care contact center.
