Colleen Kelly, host of the PBS’ travel show, “Family Travel with Colleen Kelly,” embarks on a voyage of adventure and fun with her two kids during a half-hour show taped during a Caribbean cruise on Carnival Breeze which airs November 30.

Viewers can follow Colleen and her family as they check out all that Carnival Breeze has to offer and soak up the sun in Grand Turk with Colleen providing trip highlights and family cruising tips along the way.

From zipping down the water slides and traversing the suspended ropes course to enjoying a delicious family-style meal in the Cucina del Capitano Italian restaurant, Kelly and her children demonstrate why family cruising is the industry’s fastest growing market.  Carnival Cruise Lines alone is expected to carry more than 700,000 children this year – double what the line carried a decade ago

Kelly also has penned several blogs about the trip on her web site with information on what families need to pack, unexpected delights on board and tips for both parents and kids to maximize the fun on their cruise vacation.

The 3,690-passenger Carnival Breeze is the line’s newest and largest ship, operating year-round six-and eight-day Caribbean voyages from Miami.  Designed as the ultimate family vacation, the 130,000-ton floating resort offers more than 19,000 square feet of space dedicated to children and families, including a WaterWorks water park with the legendary 312-foot-long Twister slide, an outdoor recreation area called SportSquare and dedicated play areas and youth programs for kids in three age groups ranging from 2-17.
