Carnival Cruise Line has earned ‘2016 Best Mainstream Cruise Line’ honors in the fourth annual Cruise Fever Fan Awards, in which readers of the site are asked to rate cruise lines in a number of categories. After more than 10,000 votes were tallied, Carnival Cruise Line received more votes than any other cruise operator in the Best Mainstream Cruise Line category.
Carnival Cruise Line enjoyed a successful and memorable 2016 highlighted by the debuted of the line’s newest, largest and most innovative ship, Carnival Vista, which features the first brewery on a North American-based cruise ship, the first IMAX Theatre at sea, and the unique Havana experience with tropical-themed staterooms and suites, its own infinity pool and a festive Cuban-inspired bar and decor. The line also expanded capacity in a number of key markets, including Port Canaveral, Galveston and New Orleans, and launched four- and five-day service from Mobile, Ala.
Cruise Fever was founded in 2011 and has become one of the most popular cruise-oriented blogs on the Internet with five million readers a year and 250,000 Facebook fans.
Carnival is the world’s largest cruise operator with 25 ships operating 1,800 three- to 15-day voyages annually to the Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii and other destinations.
