Carnival Corporation CEO Arnold Donald and Karl Sestak from his office had the thrill of a lifetime when they boarded the Carnival AirShip, a 128-foot-long blimp emblazoned with Carnival Cruise Line’s #Choose Fun tagline.

Donning the required headphones, Donald and Sestak took to the sky flying over key local landmarks and beaches at upwards of 1,000 feet, all the while promoting #ChooseFun message that’s reached thousands upon thousands of consumers.   The duo boarded the AirShip following festivities welcoming Carnival Horizon to its year-round homeport of Miami and featuring the line’s Chief Fun Officer Shaquille O’Neal and Miami Heat legends.

A key component of the line’s Homeport Advantage marketing campaign highlighting ship deployments in key markets, Carnival AirShip has been making its way across the Southeast, part of a 30-day aerial journey that ends in Atlanta this weekend.

Consumers who post a photo of the AirShip on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with hashtag #ChooseFun are entered into a contest awarding free cruises and other prizes while triggering a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, one of Carnival’s favorite charities.
