Justise Winslow of the Miami HEAT and Carnival Cruise Line teamed up this weekend to host a day of fun for 20 underprivileged kids aboard Carnival Horizon while the ship was docked at PortMiami.
In partnership with Winslow’s charity, Robin’s House Family Foundation, kids from the Miami-area Big Brothers Big Sisters enjoyed a splash-tastic time at the ship’s massive WaterWorks aqua park as well as a pep rally with the HEAT Dancers and the team’s Hoop Troop. The day culminated with lunch in one of the dining rooms.
Founded by Robin Davis and her son, Justise Winslow, Robin’s House Family Foundation encourages and guides children and young adults to discover their highest potential through education, recreation, and community outreach.
