As work continues in Cadiz, Spain to ready Carnival Firenze for its Carnival Fun Italian Style debut, team members on board raised the Panamanian flag to designate the ship’s new registry with Panama. Carnival Firenze is the latest addition to Carnival’s fleet of 27 ships and joins several other sisters that are also registered and flagged in Panama.
After completing dry dock work in Cadiz, Carnival Firenze will depart for California on March 22. It will serve as a stunning addition to Carnival’s homeport of Long Beach, sailing year-round beginning April 25, 2024, with a wide range of cruise options currently available. The second ship to feature Carnival Fun Italian Style experiences, Carnival Firenze’s design is inspired by the beautiful city of Florence, Italy, and the ship will be invigorated from bow to stern by Carnival’s signature fun.
