Carnival Cruise Line was once again a big winner in the 2024 Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards, earning top honors in multiple categories including a first-time honor as Best Travel Advisor Loyalty Program and Best Domestic Cruise Line for the ninth consecutive year. In addition, the cruise line also won Best Short Itinerary for the third consecutive year.

Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy was joined by Ken Tate, Chief Commercial Officer, and several Carnival team members to accept the awards at the ceremony, which was held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on Wednesday.

“Travel Weekly readers choosing Carnival for Best Travel Advisor Loyalty Program for the first time is exceptionally gratifying and a testament to the fact that we recognize our travel advisors are an essential part of our success,” said Duffy. “And certainly, winning Best Domestic Cruise Line for the ninth year in a row speaks volumes for the work of our friendly onboard teams who lead the industry with unmatched service and dedication to our guests.”

The recognition as Best Advisor Loyalty Program highlights Carnival’s dedication to supporting its valued travel advisor community through its Loyalty Rocks! program, designed to empower and celebrate travel advisors with a suite of tools, incentives, and exclusive rewards.

Carnival’s distinction as Best Domestic Cruise Line underscores its commitment to providing great cruise vacations for more than 5.5 million cruisers annually from 14 U.S. homeports. The variety Carnival delivers suits any type of traveler, with a diverse – and growing – fleet of 27 ships that feature award-winning entertainment, amenities and experiences on a wide range of itineraries that include some of the world’s most popular destinations on convenient sailings departing from more U.S. homeports than any other cruise line.

The Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice accolades add to several more top honors for Carnival that were announced this week, including The Point’s Guy Awards Best Cruise Line for Maximizing Value and Cruise Critic’s Editors’ Picks Awards for Best Value for the Money. Today, Carnival also received a Newsweek’s Reader’s Choice Award with Carnival Celebration taking the top spot for Best Cruise Ship Casino.
